How to remove what Prachar holds about you, and what happens when you do.

If you have a Prachar account

Sign in, then go to Settings → Security and choose to delete your account. You will be asked for your password, because this cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in, write to privacy@dcrayons.app from the address on the account and we will do it for you. We will confirm before deleting anything.

What is removed

• Your name, email address, phone number and password
• Your signed-in devices
• Workspaces you own, including their business details, catalog, posts, pictures and connected accounts
• Access tokens for connected platforms, which stop working immediately
• Comments and messages collected from your connected accounts

What is kept, and why

• Records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, for as long as the law requires and no longer.
• Workspaces you belong to but do not own are not deleted — they belong to somebody else. You are removed from them and your name no longer appears.

Deletion completes within 30 days. Backups are overwritten on their own schedule within that window.

If you connected Instagram or Facebook

Deleting your Prachar account removes our copy and revokes our access. To be certain, also remove Prachar from the platform's own settings:

• Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business integrations
• Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites

That stops any further access even if something on our side were to fail.

If you messaged a business and have no Prachar account

A business using Prachar may hold your comment or message, including your name and handle, because you sent it to them on a social platform. They decide what happens to it, not us — we hold it on their behalf.

Ask the business first. If you cannot reach them, or they do not act, write to privacy@dcrayons.app with enough detail to identify the message. We will pass the request to them, tell you that we have, and delete our copy where we are able to.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied, our Grievance Officer is CHANGE_ME at grievance@dcrayons.app. We respond within 30 days. You may then complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
